I think we were supposed to coment on the Obama speach so here it is!
In Obama’s speach I really loved his ideas on tax cuts, clean energy, and what not. I also like his idea of taking back our jobs in forign countries and make clean energy cars in America. I also like his ideas of being respnsible and hopeful. And I really love the idea of responsibly pulling our troops from Iraq. I also like his ideas of universal healthcare because a lot of poeple including me family would not be able to pay for healthcare if it wasn’t for my dad’s job. I also like the idea of equality, which means every single American should be equal! In my personal opinion, we need change! To me, that is voting for Obama.

i liked the beginning of Obama’s speech: Thank you thank you yes thank you than- thank you yes thank you very much thank you. It gave me warm fuzzy feelings.

THAT SPEECH WAS AWESOME! IT ROCKED MY SOCKS OFF!!! (I wrote most of my comment on the Budding Politicians.) WE CAN DO IT! WE NEED A CHANGE! GO OBAMA!!!!! WHOO!

hahah david. but yeah… he said thank you….a lot…

No but really, i think Obama’s speech was incredibly inspiring. I liked that he believes that if we all work hard enough, we can change the things that are going wrong in our country. I also think that what he said about the role of the government was good. The government should help people out who need help but people themselves need to work hard to make their own lives and the lives of the people around them a success. I especially like that he wants to end the war in Iraq.

HAHA!!! The daily show is making really funny jokes about Obama. I really like Obama, they are being really funny!!!

  9.   Anjalion 28 Aug 2008 at 8:20 pm 9

Wow Obama’s speech was just sooooooo amazing. Especially how he rebutted the Republicans bad comments abouut him. It was just so… It really made want to vote for him even though I can’t… i also love how he’s planed everything he wants to do and how… I really REALLY hope he becomes president. =)

I think Obama really believes in what he is saying and i think that he will accomplish what he says. I also believe he will reduce Tax incomes so the lower and middle class people have more money in banks and be able to put their families in better homes, and so that they can give their children a better education. I also like that he will try to reduce troops in Iraq. WORLD PEACE!!!

I was deeply impacted by Obama’s speech. The momment I heard what he had to say, I truly believed in his cause. I think he will reduce Taxing incomes, and help free health care for all. MOst of all i like that he is going to stop the War in Iraq..

I think Obama has the answer to health care by requireing employers that do not offer health coverage to pay a percentage of their income toward a national health plan. But I also think “change” is very vauge.

Well, I don’t care about what you guys say is so good about Obama. He is brainwashing America with all of his pish posh speeches. McCain’s going to win!!! You just wait. I can’t wait till ya’ll say “I should have believed you Henry”!!

Hi G! Awsome blog! I’m watching the RNC. got to go Bush is about to speak.

  17.   Henryon 02 Sep 2008 at 7:43 pm 17

Fred Thomson’s speech has got to be the best I have ever heard!! I felt like every word of it was pure truth. I especially enjoyed the comment about how Sarah Palin is the only candidate who knows how to field dress a moose!!!!!

  18.   Susannahon 03 Sep 2008 at 4:56 pm 18

I agree with Henry up there. McCain is DEFINITELY going to win the election… but that’s not the point. I loved the speeches by Fred Thompson and Joe Lieberman, the democrat-turned-republican! They were excellent, and, agreeing with another of Henry’s opinions, I really loved Thompson’s comment about how Sarah Palin is the only candidate who knows how to field dress a moose. I really believe that they were excellent and their speeches really hit home with me, much more so than did the speeches at the DNC…

  21.   Henryon 05 Sep 2008 at 5:40 am 21

Well, McCain had a great speech last night. It was a bit more humble than Obama’s. But at least it made more sense than Obama’s. Apparently Obama is hiding the fact that he is actually raising taxes.
